Although recent advances in publishing technology are dazzling, the fact remains that we often go online or use a hand-held device to do some old-fashioned reading. And what we read is old-fashioned text. If this text has a serious subject matter, it might be indexed, or contain extensive footnotes or endnotes. This is where the limited experise of computer "geeks" tends to let them down: however talented they may be with code or graphics, if they lack essential English language skills they will not be able do careful writing justice.
Having pursued an academic career for a number of years, having taught philosophy, logic, and mathematics, I am used to dealing with technical writing involving formulae, symbols, footnotes, indexes, etc.
If you have some technical or academic text that needs to be treated with the care it deserves during preparation for publication, please contact me for details.
